Christ Church launched our new overseas mission project which we are supporting through USPG. This is to support Mothers living with HIV/AIDS in central Tanzania and to prevent Mother to Child transmission of the disease. USPG volunteer speaker Paul Gurnham came and spoke to us about the challenge of HIV/AIDS in Tanzania and how the church in Tanzania is responding to this tragedy through this project with USPG’s support. Tanzanian food was also served crowning a really enjoyable and informative evening.
