Over this Holy Week, we found different ways to pause and reflect culminating in a joyous celebration of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday.
Maundy Thursday
On Maundy Thursday, we came together for a simple meal in the chapel, with salad, cheese, fruit and an amazing vegetable stew made by Ruth . A poignant service then followed in which we shared in Holy Communion, had our feet washed by Revd John and Revd Dom and then stripped the altar.
Good Friday
On Good Friday, the church was open for prayer and quiet. We also invited people to come on the Good Friday Journey, with stations around the church encouraging us to reflect on the events of Good Friday from different perspectives.
Easter Sunday
On Easter Day, Revd Dom led a joyful All Age Holy Communion Service which you can watch here.
