Covid-19 Update for Christ Church East Greenwich FC:
In light of the current restrictions in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19, our football team is currently unable to meet and play.
Christ Church East Greenwich FC was formed at the end of the summer 2018 and entered into division 2 of the Bromley and Croydon Christian League. The11-a-sideteam is managed by JoeHall, captained by Charles Cave with vice captain, Michael Crawford. Read Joe’s blog about CCEG FC on the Diocese of Southwark here.
2019/20 is the team’s second season. The team has been practising over the summer and had a series of friendly warm up matches before the season started on 28th September.
The squad plays matches on Saturday lunchtimes usually kicking off at 1 or 1.30pm. It practices on Wednesday evenings at 8pm. For more details or to get involved contact manager, Joe Hall here.

The squad travels across south London to play in Croydon, Bromley, Sidcup and hosts home matches in Charlton Park. See the current league standings here.
In the 2018/19 season, CCEG FC scored the most goals in the league and captain, Charles Cave, was the lead goal scorer and he won the ‘golden boot’ at the team awards ceremony. See the current table here.
There has been a keen and loyal band of supporters at the matches including the Vicar, Revd Margaret Cave, mums, dads, wives, babies, children and friends. Come along and support the team. Here is the fixtures list.
We take safeguarding our players seriously and the CCEG FC safeguarding officer is Tim Cave.
