Worship in Spirit and in Truth

Covid-19 Update for Worship:

In light of the current restrictions in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the building of Christ Church is partially closed for public worship and other meetings.

We are currently meeting in the church building for midweek Holy Communion (Wednesdays at 12.30pm), Morning Prayer (Tuesdays 8.30am) and Sunday at Seven (Sundays, 7pm).

Sunday at Seven is an opportunity to meet with each other and with God in different ways each week:
4th October: Reflective service of Holy Communion
11th October: Taize service
18th October: Black History Month service
25th October: Reflective service of Holy Communion

However we are still unable to meet for Sunday morning services so instead we are meeting online. You would be very welcome to join us for any of our online services or events – please see our Live Stream Worship page for more information.

Christ Church offers a space to meet with God and share in community.  All are welcome as we enjoy and celebrate our rich diversity. Please feel welcome to join us at any of our services.

Our main service of worship is on Sunday morning at 10am. We also have a monthly 8am service on the first Sunday of the month and a monthly 6pm Taize service on the last Sunday of the month. There is mid-week worship at our Holy Communion service on Thursdays at 12noon and at Morning Prayer on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8.30am.

Here is our worship band singing and playing “What a beautiful name” in the service:
