We were so excited to see everyone that could make it to our first service back in the church building. It was a really special moment to see so many familiar faces, and meet some for the first time.
As Revd Margaret led and preached at this first service in the Frontline series, the kids had their own fun! The Sparrows, Owls and Eagles met up in their groups to worship through crafts and play. There was beautiful food art from fruit and pancakes, as well as colouring, cutting and sticking to create pictures of lions.
In the Sunday Huddle, like the adults we reflected on the need to bring our faith into the places we spend the rest of the week, our “Frontlines”.
As well as seeing so many members and families in person, we were also grateful to the joys of technology that meant anyone still unable to join us physically tuned in online.
We can’t wait till next week! Why not join us on Sunday at 10am in the church for our All Age Communion service? And our Sparrows, Owls and Eagles are invited to a family picnic in Sue’s garden. Keep an eye out for the newsletter for more details.
